Beach and Villa Resort Cabo San Lucas

This resort FAR exceeded my expectations for a number of things:

1. The beach was AMAZING! This was our first trip to Cabo and we had always heard the ocean was too rough to swim in so when we booked, the beach was on the bottom of our list...it turned out to be one of the nicest beaches ever! The water is calm enough to swim in but enough waves to have some fun in. The beach is just pure sand, not even shells are scattered around! Of course there are the typical beach vendors but they were all very nice and respectful and when we wanted to go on a glass bottom boat tour, they hooked us up right away.

2. The food was wonderful as well; there are so many options and there's only one restaurant that you would need a reservation for just because of it's popularity (Neptune). There is only a buffet in the morning which is delicious and full of options, at night that restaurant turns into a traditional Mexican restaurant (TRY THE MELTED CHEESE)

3. Most importantly the staff were exceptional! a HUGE shout out to our favourite poolside servers, Jesus and Gregorio! All of the staff were so great but those two really stood out for us - we had to get pictures with them both on our last day that's how much we enjoyed them!

The only thing that threw us for a loop here was that every time we went to a restaurant or ordered a drink, we'd have to provide our room number and then sign a bill similar to any hotel where you would charge to your room. At first we panicked thinking we would have to pay at the end of our stay, but the staff explained very nicely (for probably the 1 millionth tourist) that there were other packages offered at the hotel (time share, condos, European plans) so some rooms would have to pay. We just crossed out the tip and total lines, wrote down our room number and signed. We of course tipped, but in cash! At check-out there were no ugly surprises.

I highly recommend this resort. We've been to many resorts only once and this one was the only one where I would ever consider booking again.

Staff were very friendly throughout the resort. Our 2 bedroom unit was very clean and kept that way over the entire trip. We found cute towel animals in our room on several different days of our stay. The spa treatment was amazing and the staff again were fantastic. The grounds were immaculate. The concierge desk helped us make dinner reservations at various restaurants off site. The bellboys always greet us with a smile and helped secure our taxes. We especially got help from Oscar and Paul Hernandez ( bell boy captain).

I recommend staying at Villa Del Arco for many reasons. First off the service in every area of the hotel was amazing. I came with my mom and she also agrees. This hotel is perfect for couples families and even solo trips.

The employees that delivered great service that I could remember their names are, Emmanuel, Jose, Vicente, Jesus but there’s many more. All the employees working in the breakfast area at Patron to the evening employees. All the employees in the pool area delivering drinks and food were all amazing. As well as the bellman, I wish I could name them all but everyone did an amazing job. The food was good for having an all inclusive option. No matter where you were walking to in the hotel service was top tier. All I would say for a con is avoid agreeing to taking a tour and timeshare. The harrasment is really uncomfortable. Other than that the stay was very pleasant.
