  • Restrictions

    • Valid for 2 adults and up to 2 children , ages 12 and under. Families with children 12 and older , may upgrade. Upgrade pricing available on request.
    • Valid for single women between the ages of 35 and 65 (must be genuinely single. Attached individuals traveling without their partners will not be accepted on this promotion.) Not valid for single men,
    • Payment of US$128 is made today and the remainder (US$371) is paid during the Resort’s Welcome Call within 7 days.
    • A credit card is required at the time of check in to cover any incidentals. Debit cards, diners, secured credit, prepaid cards, etc are not accepted.
    • There is a US$4 per day Environmental Sanitation Tax and a US$10 per day Room Tax payable to the Resort on arrival (total – US$14 per day)
    • Couples must be earning a Minimum combined income of US$70,000 per annum. Single women must be earning a minimum US$60,000 on their own per annum.

  • Eligibility

    • Valid for couples who are married or who have been living together for at least 5 years.
    • Valid for US and Canadian citizens only.
    • Not valid for airline employees, hotel employees, cruise line employees.
    • Valid for guests who are in full time employment or comfortably retired.
    • Valid for guests who speak, read, write and understand fluent English and Spanish only.

  • Mandatory Requirements

    • Includes complimentary refreshments for 2 and a 120 minute preview of the Resort’s Sunset World Travel and Lifestyle Program.

We stayed here for 5 days, all-inclusive package. You can use the other Sunset World facilities (sunsent Royale and Ocean Spa) for free. Our beautiful room is in the 2nd floor, overlooking the pool and the beach.  It has a jacuzzi in the balcony gives you a spectacular view of the place while having your drinks. The outdoor pool features a pool bar which my kids enjoyed ordering drinks from.  The al-fresco restaurant serves delicious meals (Would be great if there's kids menu). There restaurant theme/menu changes every day.  Shuttle bus between 3 facilities runs every hour. Water shuttle is also available between Sunset Marina and Sunset Royale.  If you like a peaceful and quiet place to relax, this is the place you wanna be. Staff are friendly. Not all of the staff speaks English but mostly frontliners do.

One word could summarize this resort: service.  The staff at Sunset Marina is unmatched.  They will get to know you, your names, your favorite drinks, your favorite songs, your family.  It is so much fun to wake up each day and head to one of the 5 on-site restaurants for a meal knowing that you will see familiar and friendly faces.  The rooms are beautiful and well-kept, and the atmosphere is cozy and intimate (unlike larger, more spread-out and busy resorts).  I'd say there were never more than 15-20 people in the pool at a time, plenty of space to hang out.  We never were searching for a pool chair or feeling like we didn't have our space.  This is a lagoon-side resort, no beach access, but the lake is beautiful and calm.  You can take a water taxi or shuttle (10-15 mins) to the beach resort if you want that experience, too.
