Mayan Palace Puerto Vallarta

I had an amazing stay at Mayan Palace Puerto Vallarta! The resort is stunning, and the service was top-notch. Dorle and Elizabeth, the pool and Sunest Bar server and bartender, was a true highlight—always serving up delicious drinks with a smile and great conversation. The Joy Squad, especially Miriam and Stephen, really brought the energy! They led the pool activities with such enthusiasm, making every game and contest so much fun. Their vibrant personalities created a lively, positive atmosphere, and they truly made our vacation special. Highly recommend this place for a fun, relaxing time!

Beautiful grounds and a nice location, safe and away from the busy downtown but close enough to a small shopping center. The rooms was spacious, though the furnishings looked a little warn. A mid size fridge, microwave and stove top are provided. They charge for coffee packets. Daily cleaning service was terrific and the staff overall was very helpful Beware if you are required or want to do their "presentation". They will keep you for hours and use every trick in the book to get you to buy one of their timeshare/resident program. As incentive they offer free airfare anywhere in North America and $2000 credit on a cruise. When you read the small print, it's questionable if it's worth the trouble to redeem them. Best time to visit the area is November through March.

The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Check took too long and our bags were not delivered for two hours. When we first used each faucet, the water was as black as strong coffee but cleared up quickly. Nevertheless we were concerned about drinking it. At least it had a neutral odor

We ordered a pizza delivered to our room and it arrived quickly and was hot and tasty. Other restaurants were also good and the prices were mostly reasonable

We have stayed at multiple resorts in Mexico. Mayan palace is hands down the best in service, comfort and the staff are the friendliest I have ever seen. They treat you like family. The food is incredible and the beach is clean and calm. I honestly feel like I am at a home away from home. The energy here is very uplifting!!

The activity hosts, Miriam and Mizraim are very good at their jobs.

No coolers allowed on pool area nor beach. I have been a member since 1985 and have NEVER liked this rule. Food and drinks are very expensive.

Good luck trying to speak to someone with authority.

Aside from that, the staff, everybody, is friendly, rooms are clean, grounds are very well kept.

JOY SQUAD is such fun!! Miriam and Mizraim made our visit here fabulous. The games are a highlight of our day. |The wait staff were all wonderful! Elizabeth in the bar is very engaging. |Consuelo at front desk is efficient as every visit. Thank you for another restful trip!

We loved the Bakal Restaurant at the Mayan Palace in Puerto Vallarta. Antonio, the head waiter in the mornings was delightful to work with. Diego was often our waiter at the breakfast buffet. Fatima, and Miguel were exceptional as well. Carmen made a mean omelette with a smile.

Mizraim, Miriam and Stephan are an amazing team from 'Joy Squad' that do any hotel activity with enthusiasm, always friendly and nice. As well as the hotel has nice views and staff. Very recommended.

This place was very nice for our family vacation. Warm ocean to swim, beach umbrellas if you want to read on the beach. Restaurant downstairs delivered food to room. We like it. Its older hotel but everything is there even little Mexican convenience store if you need something.
