We are preferred club members and really enjoyed our stay. Our upgraded room had great views of the resort and was very comfortable. It was the largest room we had ever stayed at at a Dreams or Secrets resort. The preferred club lounge had really good food, spacious and comfortable as well. The restaurants offer pasta, seafood, burgers, vegetarian options, chicken, local cuisine and all varieties of drinks and desserts. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There are 5 pools, one at the beach area and a kids pool with slides. A bar at the beach was nice with swings. The spa, gym and other facilities are great. The half to one mile road approaching the resort is less than attractive, but once you get here, the rest of the resort is beautiful. They offer a free shuttle into the walled city at 3pm each day and returning at 7pm which was nice. There are good quality, entertaining shows at night in the main lobby, bike tours, kayaking, Golf, volleyball and other activities to do.

We had a great time. The hotel itself was very nice but what made it special for us were the wonderful people who worked there. In particular, Chef Harold Reyes made a special dinner for my husband and myself, ending with a delicious passion fruit dessert. The executive chef also spent time chatting with us. Other notables were Javier, Juan and Edgar at the pool bar and Oriana, VIP concierge. My only criticism is that it would be nice if they offered a order by menu at one of the restaurants at breakfast and lunch.

Amazing all-inclusive resort! It's worth an extra hour of flight. The food here is excellent, especially seafood, always fresh and delicious. Drinks are much better than Cuba, DR and Mexico. There are tennis courts nearby, but it's a pay-per-play deal. Would be nice if there is a tennis package. Would definitely be back.

Let me start by giving a special S/O to Rafael, Julian(front desk), Julian(Steak house staff) and there was a staff member in the Coco Cafe who was awesome. These staff members were beyond helpful and attentive. They made our stay worth while from check in to check out.

The resort is amazing!!! We were in the one bedroom tropical view and it is worth the money.. hands down best restaurants every and the drinks were premium! Definitely worth upgrading to premium club status! One of the biggest things we noticed was there were absolutely no bugs..no moths nor mosquitoes! One of the best resorts I ever been to.

Room is only 4 stars because the ac went out but Julian upgraded us to a one bedroom suite swim up.
